Faculty Member in Plant Biology
College of the Atlantic seeks a full-time faculty member in Plant Biology. The appointment begins Fall 2017. The position requires a Ph.D. in plant biology or a closely related area as well as a track record of teaching excellence, strong field experience and taxonomic skills that will enhance our strengths in local natural history and field based instruction. The successful candidate will teach five courses per year with an emphasis on field studies in plant ecology and within a teaching rotation through team-taught foundational biology courses.
